Nova has made various TV appearences with the likes of "Chaka Khan, Anita Baker, Run DMC, Princess,etc. Nova has also been a skilled vocal coach to many stars including Sarah Harding (girls aloud) and given advice and direction to singers such as Jonathan Wilkes. Chloe Marie is a pupil of Novas.

In just one day you can record and take home your final mixed chosen project on CD! (We suggest that a realistic achievement would be two or three songs per day of recording).

Alternatively we can make a separate recording and mixdown package according to your requirements.

For a small additional charge and a little bit of notice, we can source pre-recorded backing tracks for virtually every popular song. Your finished recording will be heard by various people some of who have acquired years of experience in the music industry. It is therefore vitally important that your final recording stands out from anything they have listened to before.

How can we produce an affordable demo for you?

The best way of producing a top class vocal demo recording that sounds just like the original is to use high quality backing tracks.  We insist that you use only the best playback tracks possible, and highly recommend the company Sound Choice. Sound Choice provides a vast selection of quality sounding popular songs which can be bought directly from their site, with the ability to audition songs before purchasing.   

Vocal Recording Process

Prior to the recording session your track(s) will be transferred to hard disk, imported into the pro tools as separate tracks ready to overdub your vocal. We will then place you in our professional vocal booth, to adjust comfortably in front of our high quality Brauner VMA Microphone. Your voice will be processed through a top end Focusrite pre-amp and compressor. We can add further warmth to your voice by inserting an extra valve stage to the signal chain if needed. Once we have got your vocal sound and set up your custom headphone mix you are set to start recording. Recording time can last from anything between 1 to 2 hours which is determined by how quickly and how accurately you lay down the track. At any point between recordings you can listen back to your previous vocal takes and re-record them until you and the engineer are both satisfied. With popular songs our engineer will refer to the artist’s original track during recording to maintain a high standard vocal performance throughout the session.  Several complete vocal takes will be recorded, to ensure that the most accurate, expressive and emotional aspects have been captured
